COVID-19 - Facility Update
The health and safety of our employees, clients, and guests is one of our top priorities. The staff of Warren Funeral Services of Baldwin is monitoring information on the Coronavirus (COVID-19) from Federal, State and Local authorities. At this time, Warren Funeral Services of Baldwin will continue to operate using the best practices guidelines as established by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). Please be aware that these polices are subject to immediate change upon recommendation or decree from Federal, State, and/or Local government officials.
In accordance with updated guidelines released by the CDC on Sunday, March 15, 2020, gatherings or events with an expected attendance of more than 50 people should be cancelled or postponed until a later date. Our funeral directors will work with each family to customize and make arrangements that try to accommodate family members and friends yet stay within recommended safety guidelines. These guidelines and practices are established and put in place for the safety and well-being of our employees, our client families and all friends and potential visitors to our facilities.
**Update as of March 24, 2020: Effective immediately and in place until further notice, the following guidelines have been adopted:
*Please limit in-person visits to necessary funeral business, including financial and insurance matters. We are happy to assist via telephone and email and will be accessible to you 24 hours a day.
*With the current recommendations to limit mass gatherings to 10 people, we will only conduct graveside/memorial services in open, outdoor areas. Formal public visitations will be suspended until further notice. Private viewings for immediate family members will be arranged on an individual, case by case basis.
We are taking proactive measures to help prevent the spread of any illness. We have implemented additional cleaning and disinfecting protocols to be performed after each service with extra attention paid to high-touch areas. However, we do encourage frequent hand washing and liberal use of hand sanitizer by our employees and visitors. It is also requested that physical contact be avoided between family members and visitors such as handshakes, hugs, and other such person-to-person contact.
We respectfully ask that any family member or visitor who may be experiencing any cold or flu-like symptoms including fever, cough and shortness of breath or who may have been in contact with someone who has been out of the country or who may have been out of the country themselves, please do not visit the funeral home at this time.
Please remember we are here for you at any time. If you have any questions, please feel free to call our staff. We sincerely appreciate your understanding as we work diligently to serve this community. As the CDC and the state of Florida release more guidelines and statements, we will revisit our plan to stay in compliance. We pray for the safety and well-being of all!
Sincerely,
Warren Funeral Services of Baldwin
