Ms. Susan Lee Russell, age 67 of Jacksonville, passed away Saturday, July 9, 2022, after a long-fought battle with cancer. She was a lifelong resident of Jacksonville and graduated from Ed White High School. She was dedicated to her role in the service industry and loved to care for her customers. Her goal was to always make them feel welcome and at home. Susan loved her daughter, Angel, more than life itself. Her grandson, Dylan, and son-in-law, Richard, held a very special place in her heart. While she was home, her fur baby Bella was her constant companion. Susan was a feisty, strong, loving, caring and independent woman who had a way about her no matter what was thrown her way. In her last few months, she enjoyed watching the birds and wildlife that were just outside of her window. She will be missed tremendously here…. Heaven gained an angel. Susan is survived by her daughter: Angel (Richard) Parker of Jacksonville; grandson: Dylan Parker of Jacksonville; sister: Tonya Geus of Jacksonville; nephew: Angel Rodriguez (Ali) and great niece: Willow Rodriguez. She was preceded in death by her mother: Marilyn Morrow. A celebration of her life will be held 5:00pm, Saturday, July 16, 2022, in the chapel at Warren Funeral Services of Baldwin. The family will receive friends, at the funeral home, one hour prior to the service. At the conclusion of the service, friends are welcome to join the family at the barn pavilion at Diamond D Ranch off of Normandy Boulevard in Jacksonville to enjoy a meal in Ms. Susan’s honor. Warren Funeral Services of Baldwin is honored to serve the Russell family. Please leave condolences online at www.warrenfuneralservices.com.
