Mr. Michael Ray Gann, age 49 of Dade City, passed away Monday, July 24, 2023. He graduated from Land O' Lakes High School with honors, was a member of the Honor Society, and went on to study mechanical engineering at Florida State University. Mr. Gann was the owner of CMG Appraisal, serving the tri-county area of Pasco, Pinellas, and Hillsborough counties. A very patriotic man, Mr. Gann’s desire was to serve in the US Military but settled for becoming a private contractor for the Army and completing tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. He also attended the police academy and graduated second in his class. Away from work, Mr. Gann enjoyed collecting antique military weapons, constructing model airplanes, and going on cruises. He was an amazing cook, known to be able to replicate favorite dishes by taste. Mr. Gann was a man of strong faith in God. He truly loved Jesus and was devoted to his wife, his family and his country. He was generous man, willing to help anyone in need. Mr. Gann is survived by his wife: Laura Gann of Dade City; mother: Justine Gann of Baldwin; brother: Brian (Nikki) Gann of Milton, Florida; and a host of other family members. He was preceded in death by his father: Kenneth Gann. Funeral services will be held 11:00am, Saturday, July 29, 2023, in the chapel at Warren Funeral Services of Baldwin with Reverend Stephen Thomas officiating. Interment will follow at Brandy Branch Cemetery, Bryceville. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
