Mrs. Juanita A. Bell, age 88 of Jacksonville, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2022. She was born to the late John W. and Lore T. Rodgers and was a lifelong Jacksonville resident. Mrs. Bell attended Baldwin High School and was a faithful member of the Otis Road Church of God. A talented seamstress, she worked for many years at Simmons Mattress Company and Sellers Bag Company. She also loved to crochet, do macrame and Swedish weaving. Mrs. Bell also enjoyed going bowling and spending time with her family. She is survived by her children: Eddie (Donna) Bell Jr., Karen Cox, Sandy Dodge, and Juliana (Carl) Jones all of Jacksonville; son-in-law: Larry Fleming of Jacksonville; grandchildren: Jason Bell, Mandy (Jerry) Grossi, Christy (Bryan) Harrington, Bob Cox, Jenniffer (Buck) Wiseman, Jessica Dodge, Frankie Griffis, Kayla (James) Watts, and Bret Griffis; nineteen great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren, two sisters and a brother. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of sixty-eight years: Edward W. Bell Sr., daughter: Connie Elaine Fleming, son: Carlus Allen Bell, four brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be held 11:00am, Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at Otis Road Church of God, Jacksonville, with Pastor Stephen Thomas officiating.
