Diane Scott Stringer

Mrs. Diane Stringer, age 79 of Bryceville, passed away Thursday, June 1, 2023, in Baker County. A longtime Bryceville resident, she was born in Jacksonville to the late James R. Scott and Jewel Smith. Mrs. Stringer was a woman of faith who enjoyed being at home with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be remembered as a wonderful mother and friend. She is survived by her children: Freddie Thomas “Tommie” (Stephanie) Stringer Jr. of Middleburg, Robert Craig (Gina) Stringer of Jacksonville, Michael Anthony Stringer of Bryceville, and Kimberly Stringer (Daryl) Miller of McIntosh, Florida; sisters: Carol (Fred) Smith of Jacksonville and Sharon Smith of Tallahassee; brother: Larry (Pam) Smith of Jacksonville; seven grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of fifty-five years, Fred Stringer Sr., sisters: Barbara Wilson and Pat Estell and brother: Gary Smith. Graveside funeral services will be held 11:00am, Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at Brandy Branch Cemetery in Bryceville.
