Carol Elaine (Gamble) Crews

Mrs. Carol Elaine (Gamble) Crews, age 64 of Jacksonville, went home to be with the Lord on July 20, 2023. Carol was born May 27, 1959, in Heidelberg, Germany, daughter of the late Clifton Eugene Gamble and Mary Colleen Gamble. Carol was a Director – BDO Center for Healthcare Excellence and Innovation at BDO USA. She loved to serve God faithfully at her church, Whitehouse Baptist Church, in many roles including pianist and the nursery until her death. Carol was devoted to her Lord, her church, and her family. She enjoyed traveling, going to the lake for vacation, watching her hummingbirds and squirrels, and spending time with her family. She was happily married for 42 years to Gary L. Crews. Survivors include her loving husband Gary Crews; favorite only son Jonathan (Melissa) Crews; two grandsons Joshua and Nathan Crews; sister Cathy (Richard) Hodgson; 5 nieces and nephews and numerous extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister: Connie Lanier Addington. Funeral services with be held 11:00am, Thursday, July 27, 2023, at Whitehouse Baptist Church, Jacksonville, with Reverend Bronson Clemens officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Memorial Park, Jacksonville. The family will receive friends 6-8:00pm, Wednesday, July 26, 2023,  in the chapel at Warren Funeral Services of Baldwin, 105 US Hwy 90, Baldwin. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Whitehouse Baptist Church Mission Fund. Warren Funeral Services of Baldwin is honored to serve the Crews family.
