Ann (Warren) Huffty

Mrs. Ann Huffty, age 63 of Jacksonville, passed away Thursday, June 29, 2023. A lifelong Jacksonville resident, Ann spent many years in the corporate world. For twenty-three years she was a leader and an executive at ADP and most recently she was the Chief Operating Officer at Providence Technology Solutions. Outside of her professional career, she enjoyed traveling, cooking for her family, going to the beach, and college football. An avid Florida Gator fan, Ann would serve on the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl Committee. She enjoyed entertaining at Christmas time as her family hosted a nationally recognized Christmas light display from their home. Ann was a devoted wife, mother, and “Lovie”, as she was known to her grandchildren/ “sugar babies”.  She is survived by her husband of thirty years, Darren Huffty of Jacksonville; children: Jamie (Kim) Phillips of Sanderson, Hilary (Chris) Berry of Jacksonville, and Sedona Huffty of Oxford, England; grandchildren “sugar babies”: Haylee, Annslee, Kingsley, Kennedy, and Keegan; brothers: Alex (Linda) Warren of Baldwin, Douglas (Angela) Warren of Baldwin, and Bruce (Lucretia) Warren of Bryceville. She was preceded in death by her parents: John A. and Margaret Ann (Green) Warren. Funeral Services will be held 10:00am, Monday, July 3, 2023, at First Baptist Church of Jacksonville, in the Lindsey Auditorium, with Reverend Sean Perron officiating. Committal service and interment will be held in the family plot at Brandy Branch Cemetery, Bryceville at 12:30pm, the day of the funeral service.
