Funeral services for Willie Lee Bell, Jr. (68) of Jacksonville, Florida will be held 1 p.m., Friday, May 29, 2009 in the chapel of Prestwood Funeral Home with Bishop Steve Thomas officiating. The interment will immediately follow in Riverside Memorial Park. Mr. Bell was born in Jacksonville, Florida on September 23, 1940, son of the late Willie Lee Bell, Sr. and the former Ruby Mae Glover. He passed away on May 24, 2009 in Jacksonville, Florida following a lengthy illness. He is survived by: Six Brothers, Ed (Juanita) Bell, Bud (Janie) Bell, David (Barbara) Bell, Ollivan (Martha) Bell, John (Nadine) Bell and Charles (Valerie) Bell; Six Sisters, Anna Laura Croft, Ruby (John) Price, Willo Gay, Irma (Kenny) Johnson, Edith (Bill) McStephenson and Glenda (Wendell) Kelly; Numerous Nieces & Nephews. Serving as pallbearers: Eddie Bell, Sherri Bell, Bruce Bell, Jason Bell, Charles Gay Jr., Billy Hutchinson and Mark Hutchinson. Serving as honorary pallbearers: Travis McStephenson, Stanley Bell, Daniel Bell and Justin Bell. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, May 28, 2009 at the funeral home.
