Graveside Services for MCPO William Daniel White, Sr. (U.S. NAVY Retired), (70) of Bryceville, FL will be held 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, March 20, 2007 in Gethsemane Memorial Gardens with Rev. Richard Fish of Bryceville Baptist Church officiating. Mr. White was born July 3, 1936 in Columbus, Mississippi the son of the late Alonzo C. White and the former Florala W. White. He passed away March 15, 2007 at his home from injuries sustained in a tractor accident. Mr. White enlisted in the U.S. NAVY, September 21, 1953 at the age of 17. His career took him through the ranks of Basic Seaman (E-1) to Senior Master Chief (E-9). His service includes two wars, the Korean Conflict and Vietnam. He then retired after 20 years of dedicated service. After retirement Mr. White attended nursing school earning his Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN). He leaves behind his Wife of 48 years, Doris White; Four Sons, Edward (Elizabeth) White, David (Mary Ann) White, George (Terri) White and Alonzo (Debra) White; Seven Grandchildren; One Brother and Two Sisters.
