JOHNSON – Funeral services for William Leon Johnson, Sr. (70) of Jacksonville, Florida will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at 9:30 am in the chapel of Prestwood Funeral Home with pastor James "Pops" Williams officiating. The interment will immediately follow in the Jacksonville National Cemetery with military honors. Mr. Johnson was born on July 28, 1947, son of the late Roy Christopher Johnson and the former Leona Addison. He passed away on May 13, 2018 in Jacksonville, Florida. His family includes: wife, Brenda L. Johnson; son, William L. Johnson, Jr.; daughter, Becky L. Johnson Bridgland (Steve, deceased); grandchildren, Chelsea R. Moody Greggs (Zackary), Baylee E. Bridgland, Nicholas R. Bridgland and Stephanie Bridgland; sisters, Carol (Ferrell) Rowe (deceased), Louise Richardson, Pansey Burnett (Mac, deceased), Vivian (Terry) Wafford, Bonnie (Jim) Davis, Joann Howell and Sharon (Roy) McCormick; brothers (deceased), Roy C. Johnson, Sr. and Lonnie Johnson; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
