Wesley Mosley

March 11, 1921 — September 9, 2007

MOSLEY- - Wesley James Mosley, Sr., founder of Amazing Grace Ministry died September 9, 2007 in Jacksonville, Florida at the age of 86. Mr. Mosley was born March 11, 1921 in Duval County Florida; he was the son of the late Donald Mosley and the former Annie Davis-Mosley. He was a life-long resident of the West Jacksonville area, a member of North Jacksonville Baptist Church, and was retired from Seaboard Coastline Railroad with over 30 years of service. It was at this time that Mr. Mosley truly began to work. He was called to spread God's word and to touch as many lives as possible. Doing this Mr. Mosley set out to furnish Bibles, tracks, and other literature printed in foreign languages to third world nations, communist controlled countries and dictator ruled lands. Obstacles became just a way of life for Mr. Mosley and his ministry just kept growing, he supported foreign villages, orphanages and worked with other Christian based groups to help feed, clothe and educate worldwide. Ironically Mr. Mosley had only six years of education but was awarded the Bachelor of Arts in Ministry in 1992, The Master of Science in Missiology in 1994 and then the Doctor of Christian Literature. He was truly an inspiration to all who knew him. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M.
