Wanda Joy Clute, affectionately known as Joy, passed away on September 11, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. She was a devoted and loving wife and mother, whose greatest pride was in her son, Bobby, and the man he has become.
Joy's love for her family was immeasurable. She devoted herself to caring for her mother, ensuring every need was met with compassion and attention. Her giving spirit extended to all who knew her, and her presence was a source of strength and comfort.
As a preschool teacher, Joy found purpose in guiding young minds and watching her students learn and grow. Her passion for teaching and her ability to nurture will be remembered by many.
Her smile and love for life lit up every room she entered, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Joy leaves behind her devoted husband, Robert Clute; her son, Bobby; her parents, Mitch and Cindy Scott; her grandparents, Donald and Hazel Jones; brothers, Ricky Myatt Jr. (Connie) and Joey Myatt (Missy); sisters, Wyndi Lewis (Bubba) and Mindy Dillion (Derek); along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends who will cherish her memory.
She was preceded in death by her biological father, Ricky Lynn Myatt Sr., and her nephew, Tyler Myatt.
Joy's life was one of love, devotion, and joy—qualities she shared abundantly with those around her. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of her family and all who were blessed to know her.
