Walter Meeks, Jr

- Funeral services for Walter Calvin Meeks, Jr. (66) of Bryceville, Florida will be held 11 am, Saturday, June 27, 2015 with pastor Terry Yerby officiating. The interment will immediately follow in Riverside Memorial Park. Mr. Meeks was born on January 1, 1949 in Jacksonville, Florida, son of the late Walter Calvin Meeks, Sr. and the former Elma E Webb. He passed away on June 25, 2015 in Jacksonville, Florida following a brief illness. In addition to his wife of 38 years, Leona Meeks, survivors include: four sons, Joe (Marie), Dale (Joan), Dave (Hope) and Little Calvin; two daughters, Debbie (Jack) and Toni Lynn; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tammy Rozier. Those serving as pallbearers include: Dave Rozier, Dale Rozier, Brandon Rozier, Dale Rozier Jr., D.J. Thompson and Danile Pennington. Joe Foreman will be serving as an honorary pallbearer. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
