Funeral services for Syble Tidwell-Lands (87) of St. Augustine, Florida, will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 26, 2007 at Larkinsville Church of Christ, Larkinsville, Alabama, with Rev. Charles Washburn officiating. Interment will follow in Gold Cemetery located at Route 2, Highway 15, Woodville, Alabama. Mrs. Lands was born August 30, 1920 in Jackson County Alabama, the daughter of the late Fred Tidwell and Fannie Shelton-Tidwell and passed away November 21, 2007 in Jacksonville, Florida. Survivors include her husband of 67 years Melvin Lands; her children: Melvin (Mary) Lands, Linda (Michael) Mauldin, and Weldon (Nancy) Lands; her sister Hazel Selvage; two brothers: Howard (Louise) Tidwell and Bud Tidwell; eleven grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
