Obituary

Steve Ronald Raulerson, born in Pahokee, Florida, on January 10, 1942, passed peacefully into his spiritual realm on December 16, 2025. Steve's life journey led him to Bryceville, Florida, where he resided with his wife of 40 years, Deborah Taylor Raulerson. He transitioned at the Community Hospice Ward at St. Vincent’s in Jacksonville, Florida, surrounded by the love and support of family.

Steve is survived by his son, Ronald Allen Raulerson, and Ronald's partner, TammyLynn Allen; his cherished grandsons, Shane Allen Raulerson, accompanied by Kayla Smith, and Rylee Allen Martin, joined by Madisen Hutto; his beloved stepdaughter, Jennifer Michelle Sullivan; his great-grandchildren, Haley and Owen Raulerson, along with Weston Allen Martin, whose mother is Celise Crosby; his brother-in-law, Lynn Smith, Sr.; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, all of whom held a special place in his heart.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dozier McKinley Raulerson and Ruby Catherine Raulerson (Butler); his sister, Catherine Raulerson (Smith); his niece, Crystal Timberlake; and his nephew, Duncan Tulloch - who have all welcomed him into their arms.

Steve was a proud graduate of Palatka High School in Palatka, Florida, completing his education on June 2, 1961. He went on to serve honorably in the United States Air Force, where he was awarded the Air Force Commendation Medal for Meritorious Service. Following his military service, Steve dedicated 32 years to Winn-Dixie, retiring as an Assistant Market Manager.

Steve's passions were manifold. He was an avid fan of NASCAR racing, rooting fervently for Dale Earnhardt and his iconic #3 car. He also supported the Atlanta Braves in baseball and was a devoted follower of college football, proudly cheering for the Florida Gators, as well as the NFL.

Beyond sports, Steve was deeply passionate about his family and friends, finding joy in the connections he fostered throughout his life. His legacy will be celebrated on January 10, 2026, at Warren Funeral Services, located at 105 US 90, Baldwin, Florida, at 2:00 p.m. Family, co-workers, and friends are invited to share their encounters and memories of Steve Ronald Raulerson, honoring the vibrant spirit he brought into the lives of those around him.
