Funeral services for Stephenie Lynn Acton (19) of Jacksonville, Florida will be held 10 a.m., Friday, May 7, 2010 in the chapel of Prestwood Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Hartley officiating. The interment will immediately follow in Long Branch Cemetery. Stephenie was born on January 13, 1991 in Jacksonville, Florida, daughter of Steven Lee Acton and the former Cheryl Anne Harris. She passed away on May 3, 2010 from injuries sustained in a vehicular accident. She graduated class of 2009 from Baldwin High School and was currently a student at the Florida State College of Jacksonville. In addition to her parents, Steve and Cherie Acton, she is survived by: sister, Jennifer Acton; brother, Clint (Stephanie) Acton; two nephews, Tyler and Terrence Jones; grandparents, Fred and Bernice Harris; numerous extended family and friends. Those serving as pallbearers include: Steve Acton, Clint Acton, Tim Acton, Bruce Cannon, Kyle Cannon and Freddie Harris. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, May 6, 2010 in the chapel of Prestwood Funeral Home.
