Stacy R (Sikes) Bedford

BEDFORD- Stacy Reneè Sikes Bedford passed away unexpectedly in her home on January 12, 2017 in Jacksonville, Florida at the age of 39. Stacy was born on December 18, 1977 in Jacksonville, Florida to Terry and Tammy Sikes of Jacksonville, Florida. She graduated from Paxon Senior High School in 1995. Stacy went on to become a Certified Nursing Assistant and worked at Shands Hospital for several years. She was a devoted mother to her two daughters. Stacy is survived by her parents, Terry and Tammy Sikes of Jacksonville, Florida; Children, Haley and Hannah Bedford of Callahan, Florida; Sisters, Teresa (Jon) Chapman of Jacksonville, Florida, Leslie (Chris) Smith of Jacksonville, Florida and Kelly (Adam) Peterson of Yulee, Florida; Grandmothers, Johnita Weeks of Jacksonville, Florida and Joyce (Yvonne) Sikes of Jacksonville, Florida. She was preceded in death by her Grandfather, Rufus Nathan Sikes (Bill) of Jacksonville, Florida. Funeral services will be held 12:00 p.m. Monday January 16, 2017 at Jones Road Baptist Church, 2506 Jones Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32220. A reception will follow at the Church.
