Sally Manning

Funeral services for Sally Ambrose Manning (81) of Baldwin, Florida will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at the First Baptist Church of Baldwin with Rev. Chris Drum officiating. The interment will immediately follow in Brandy Branch Cemetery, Bryceville, Florida. Sally was born on December 20, 1930 in Cross City, Florida, daughter of the late Jacob Guy Ambrose and the former Bertha Lee Howell. She passed away on Sunday, October 21, 2012 in her home following a lengthy illness. In addition to her husband of 50 years, Brad Manning, she is survived by: son, Vance Prestwood, Sr.; three daughters, Suzanne (Eddie) Bibb, Melody (Tim) Rigdon and Stephanie (Lee) Pittman; five grandsons, Brad Chessman, Vance (Alysia) Prestwood, Jr., Brent (Kristen) Chessman, Ben Pittman and Sam Pittman; six granddaughters, Betsy Chessman, Windy (Kane) Cahill, Sarah Rigdon, Rebecca (Jonathan) Reavis, Rachel Pittman and Amy Pittman; sister, Lily Harrington; nine great grandchildren; numerous extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her son, David Prestwood. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, October 23, 2012 in the chapel of Prestwood Funeral Home.
