Sadie Oliver

Funeral Services for Sadie H. Oliver (92) of Baldwin, Florida will be held 11 a.m., Monday, February 23, 2009 at the First Baptist Church of Baldwin with Rev. Chris Drum and Rev. Danny Fouraker officiating. Interment will immediately follow in Brandy Branch Cemetery, Bryceville, Florida. The family will receive friends from 2 - 4 p.m., Sunday, February 22, 2009 at Prestwood Funeral Home. Mrs. Oliver was born August 1, 1916, daughter of James and Lela Ruis and was adopted two years later by Lester and Mozell Holland. She passed away February 20, 2009 in Jacksonville, Florida following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Oliver resided in Baldwin, Florida most of her life and was the oldest living member of the First Baptist Church of Baldwin. Her survivors include: Son, Bill Oliver (Pat); Two Daughters, Marion Stokes (Wilton) and JoAnn Fouraker; Nineteen Grandchildren, Eight Great Grandchildren and Five Great-Great Grandchildren; Two Sisters, Mary Barbee (Cliff) and Mildred Cowart. She was preceded in death by: Husband of 51 years, Enoch G. Oliver; Son-In-Law, David Fouraker, Jr.; Granddaughter, Bonnie Stokes. Serving as pallbearers: Joey, Ronnie, Daniel, John, Ricky, Cory, Tyler, David and Bobby.
