Memorial services for Russell "Rusty" Stephen McNeil (45) of Macclenny, Florida will be held 2pm, Saturday, June 16, 2012 at the Macclenny Primitive Baptist Church with pastor David Crawford officiating. Rusty was born on May 13, 1967 in Baldwin, Florida, son of the Coach Leroy McNeil and the former Betty Jean Starling. He passed away on Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at his home in Macclenny, Florida. Rusty graduated from Baldwin High School in 1985 and was regarded as an outstanding athlete in multiple sports. He loved motorcycles and spending time with friends and family. His survivors include: daughter, Rebekah McNeil of Macclenny, Florida; mother, Betty Starling Meek (Hunter) of Macclenny, Florida; two brothers, Michael McNeil (Cynthia) of Hartwell, Georgia and David McNeil (Sheila) of Gainesville, Georgia. Rusty touched many lives with his glowing and kind spirit. He will be missed by all who knew him.
