Funeral services for Ronald Eugene Hightower "Ronnie" (35) of Jacksonville, Florida will be held on Friday, August 10th, 10:00A.M. in the chapel of Prestwood Funeral Home with Pastor Larry McGinley of Old Plank Baptist Church officiating. The internment will immediately follow in Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Jacksonville, Florida. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 9th from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home. Ronnie was born in Jacksonville, Florida on November 22, 1971, the son of the late Oscar W. Hightower Jr. and the former Nancy J. Fogg. He passed away on Monday, August 6, 2007 in Jacksonville, Florida. In addition to his mother, Nancy, he is survived by: Two sisters, Tammy (Lamont) Whitley of Jacksonville, Florida and Constance (Jackie) McNeal of Texas; Brother, Butch W. Hightower of Jacksonville, Florida; Niece, Sheena Whitley of Jacksonville, Florida; Three Nephews, Brandon Whitely of Jacksonville, Florida, Jed McNeal and Jerrod McNeal of Texas. Serving as pallbearers: Lamont Whitley, Jackie McNeal, Brandon Whitley, Jodie McLean, Felton Small and Mike Bays
