WURMNEST- Funeral services for Richard Albert Wurmnest (76) of Jacksonville, Florida will be held 7:00 p.m. Monday, December 7, 2015 in the chapel of Prestwood Funeral Home with Pastor John Rollyson officiating. Mr. Wurmnest was born on January 1, 1939 in Chicago, Illinois to George John Wurmnest and the former Lillian Antoinette Hotovec. He passed away on December 3, 2015 following a lengthy illness. In addition to his wife, Sally Wurmnest, survivors include: sons, Garit Preble (Shannon), and Todd Wurmnest; daughter, Tina Hodges; sister, Barbara; grandchildren, Carley Preble and Elliott Preble; numerous family and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, George Wurmnest Jr. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be private at a later date.
