Richard Bailey Boyd

Mr. Richard Bailey Boyd, age 50 of Jacksonville, passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2021. Mr. Boyd was born in Jacksonville to the late Cryton and Jeanette Boyd. He was a 1989 graduate of West Nassau High School and was a lifelong area resident. He was employed by Stellar Industrial Solutions and was the Director of Processing Safety Management.  Mr. Boyd was known to have a keen sense of humor and had a way of sharing laughter with all who knew him. He was a devoted family man who actively participated in the lives of his children and grandchildren. He especially enjoyed fishing, boating, and attending his children's and grandchildren's sporting events. He is survived by his wife: Angie Boyd of Jacksonville; children: Richard Boyd Jr. of Yulee, Taylor Boyd of Callahan, Clay Boyd of Yulee, Reese Campbell of Jacksonville, Anna Bugbee and Kinley Bugbee both of Jacksonville; grandchildren: Hayden Stokes, Haislynn Boyd, and Brooklyn Stokes; brother: David Boyd of Ocala; uncle: Jimmy (Terri) Boyd of Bryceville; aunt: Mary (Bobby) Goolsby of Royal Palm Beach; and numerous cousins and friends. Funeral services will be held 1:00pm, Friday, June 18, 2021, at Bryceville First Baptist Church with Reverend Matt Boyd and Reverend Frank Ciresi officiating. Burial will follow the service at Verdie Cemetery in Bryceville. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
