Rester Lamar Bryan

BRYAN: Funeral services for Rester Lamar Bryan (70) of Bryceville, Florida will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May10, 2016 at River Road Baptist Church, 21067 County Road 121, Hilliard, Florida 32046 with Pastors Rusty Bryan, Benjie Loyd and James Conner officiating. The interment will immediately follow in Conner-Green Cemetery, Hilliard, Florida, with Pastor Deryle Adkison officiating. Military Honors will be provided by the United States Navy. Mr. Bryan was born on May 21, 1945 in Horry County, South Carolina, son of the late Ralph Bryan and the former Dorothy Fowler. He went home to be with the Lord on May 6, 2016 in Jacksonville, Florida following an extended illness. Mr. Bryan served his country honorably in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and was a faithful member of Brandy Branch Baptist Church. In addition to his wife of 37 years, Rhonda Bryan, survivors include: sons, Rusty (Judy) Bryan and Mark (Fe) Bryan; daughters, Evelyn Charon (Chad) Black, Rhonda (Chris) Johnson, Stephanie (Craig) Bailey; brothers, Johnny (Dorry) Bryan, William (Gail) Bryan, Lamar (Tina) Bryan, Legrand (Chris) Bryan; brother-in-law, Steve Walters; eleven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; numerous extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Ralph and Dorothy Bryan, and his sister, Denise Walters. Those serving as pallbearers include: Lamar Bryan, William Bryan, Legrand Bryan, Johnny Bryan, Chris Johnson, Chad Black, Leighton Johnson, Napao Bryan. Those serving as honorary pallbearers include: Hunter Black, R.J. Bryan and Mario Bryan.
