A Mass of Christian Burial for Paul Thomas Recker (71) of MacClenny, Florida will be celebrated at St. Matthews Catholic Church (1773 Blanding Blvd.), 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, August 7, 2007 with Father Luke officiating. The family will receive friends and invite them for lunch (7629 Plantation Road., MacClenny, FL (904) 591-0845), immediately following the service. Mr. Recker was born June 14, 1936 in Detroit, MI. He passed away August 4, 2007 in Jacksonville, FL following a lengthy illness. In addition to his wife of 43 years, Norma J. Recker, he is survived by: Three Daughters, Paula (Tuffy) Carrigg of MacClenny, FL, Pamela (John) Ploegert of Yulee, FL and Julie (Eric) Larew of Hixson, TN; Four Grandsons, Paul BoisClaire, Gage Ploegert, Dakota BoisClaire and Luke Larew; Four Granddaughters, Danielle BoisClaire, Sydney Larew, Summer Larew and Lily Larew. Serving as Pallbearers: Steve Crider, Carl Majors, Cole McGarva, Danny BoisClaire, Keith Walker and Rob Foster. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: St. Matthews Catholic Church building Fund, 1773 Blanding Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32210.
