Memorial services for Pamela Lavon Smith (70) of Baldwin, Florida will be held at 7:00 PM Friday, March 15, 2013 in the chapel of Prestwood Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Drum of Baldwin First Baptist Church officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Smith was born on January 29, 1943 in Jacksonville, Florida, daughter of the late Ivey Lucas and the former Hazel Hill. She was a life-long resident of Baldwin and worked as a teacher assistant for many years at Mamie Agnes Jones Elementary School. She is survived by her son, Jeff Smith; two granddaughters, Bella Wyatt and Zoe Smith; sister, Iva Sue (Vernon) Harris; two nephews, Brett (Tracy) Harris and Darren (Marley) Harris; two great nephews, Colby Harris and Colton Harris and two great nieces, Bayli Harris and Brenn Harris. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Baldwin First Baptist Church, 101 Center Street South Baldwin, FL 32234 or the American Cancer Society.
