Jeffery Dale Finley

Mr. Jeffery Dale Finley, age 52 of Middleburg, was welcomed into the arms of his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, July 10, 2019. He was born in Jacksonville to Mary S. and William E. Finley Sr.  Mr. Finley attended Paxon Senior High School and was a 1984 graduate. A hardworking man, he was employed by NAPA for thirty four years. Mr. Finley was known for his easy going personality and his infectious laugh. He enjoyed riding his bicycle and photographing nature  in Jennings State Forest.  He was an avid NHRA fan and loved attending drag races.  He is survived by his mother: Mary Finley of Middleburg; sisters: Renee Williams of Bryceville and Debbie (Dan) Rosamonda of Middleburg;  brother: William E. (Cindy) Finley Jr. of Atlanta; and his little fur baby, Bella. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his father.  Funeral services will be held 11:00am, Saturday, July 13, 2019 at Long Branch Baptist Church, 5500 Long Branch Cemetery Road, Jacksonville, FL 32234 with Pastor Harry Conaway officiating. Burial will follow at Long Branch Cemetery. Mr. Finley’s loved ones will receive friends at the church on Friday, July 12, 2019 from 6-8:00pm.
