Funeral services for Nomalie Lane Hallicy, 82 of Bryceville, Florida will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 5, 2007 at the First Baptist Church of Baldwin with Rev. Chris Drum officiating. The interment will immediately follow in Riverside Memorial Park, Jacksonville, Florida. She was born June 5, 1925 in Jacksonville, Florida the daughter of the late Merson J. Lane and the former Katie Mae Lewis. Mrs. Hallicy passed away Friday, November 2nd, 2007 in Jacksonville, Florida following a long battle with cancer. Nomalie was a lifelong resident of the Jacksonville area and a faithful member of the First Baptist Chruch of Baldwin. Survivors include: son, William Kenneth Hallicy, Jr (Ludie); two daughters, Nomalie Annette Lang and Patricia Hallicy Mixson (Murrell); Two sisters, Lola Mae Wright, Ethel William (Frank); six grandchildren, Melissa, Laura, Doryan, William, Charity, and Matthew; three great grandchildren, Weston & Cole Miller and Dallas Wood Jr. She was predeceased by her youngest son, Merson Hallicy and her grandson James Murrell Mixson, Jr. Pallbearers include: Ernie Crawford, Bill Waller, William Hallicy, Matthew Hallicy, Barry Rosier and Danny Knight. The family will receive friends from 3:00 – 5:00 pm Sunday, November 4, 2007 in the chapel of Prestwood Funeral Home.
