Homegoing services for Myra Webb (84), of Callahan, Florida will be held at Lannie Road Baptist Church (5998 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, Florida) 1 p.m., Tuesday, February 14, 2012 with pastor Buddy Wimberly officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. She was born on June 1, 1927 in Enigma, Georgia, daughter of the late John Ashley Pearson and the former Bessie Mae Troupe. She passed away on February 9, 2012 following a lengthy illness. She was married in 1943 to the late John Lacy Webb, Jr. Mrs. Webb resided in Jacksonville, Florida and retired from Anchor Hocking Glass after 28 years of service. After raising her children, she moved to Ocala National Forest to enjoy fishing anytime she wanted. Mrs. Webb was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, aunt and friend who was loved and admired by many. She is survived by her five children and spouses: Lacy (Annette) Webb, Larry (Rhonda) Webb, Lloyd (Janice) Webb, Darlene (the late Eddie) Browning and Joyce (Frank) Gimbel. Her legacy continues on with 25 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
