Funeral services for Minnie "Ruth" Barnes (66) of Hilliard, Florida will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 4, 2010 in the chapel of Prestwood Funeral Home with Pastor Eric Osborne officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Ruth was born on May 5, 1944, daughter of the late Thomas Theadore "Doc" Cason and the former Ethel Mae Marchman in Graceville, Florida. She passed away on Sunday, August 1, 2010 in Hilliard, Florida following a brief illness. She is survived by a: son, Robert (Melissa) Henderson; three grandsons, Cody Henderson, Mark Brown and Aaron Henderson; sister, Myra (Johnny) Brasel. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Beth Cason Brown and brother, Tommy Cason.
