Funeral services for Melba Greene Meeks (68) of Baldwin, Florida will be held 10 a.m., Friday, June 11, 2010 in the chapel of Prestwood Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Drum of the First Baptist Church of Baldwin officiating. The interment will immediately follow in Riverside Memorial Park with burial rites performed by Baldwin Chapter 171, Order of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Meeks was born on February 9, 1942 in Jacksonville, Florida, daughter of the late Wade Maurice Greene and the former Melissa Sears. She passed away on June 9, 2010 in Orange Park, Florida. Melba is survived by her brother, Wade (Fran) Greene, Jr. and two nieces, Monica Greene and Dr. Marsha (Grady) Shackelford. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., at the funeral home on Thursday, June 10, 2010.
