Funeral services for Mary Louise Williams (82) of Jacksonville, Florida will be held Monday, January 8, 2018 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Larry McGinley officiating. Interment will immediately follow in Rest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Williams was born in Townsend, Georgia on February 3, 1935, daughter of the late Horace Gilliard and the former Susie Elizabeth Poppell. She passed away on January 2, 2018 following a brief illness. She is survived by: two sons, Gene (Pam) Williams and Lacy (Rhonda) Williams; four grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; numerous extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by: husband, Ed Williams; son, John Williams; daughter, Dolores Williams. Those serving as pallbearers include: Terry McGinley, Bruce Appling, Jason Reid, Cody Callahan, Chester Reid, and Bodie Callahan. Honorary pallbearers include: Buster Appling and Justin Callahan.
