Mary Nell Godbold

Ms. Mary Nell Godbold, age 93 of Jacksonville, passed away Monday, September 12, 2022. Originally from Odum, Georgia, Ms. Godbold was a longtime Jacksonville resident. She was a member of the Dinsmore Church of God and was a known prayer warrior. She loved people and always had a little gift for whoever she came in contact with. Ms. Godbold was a collector of dolls and a lover of Christmas. Every room in her house was decorated. She will be remembered fondly and missed by all who loved her. She is survived by her son: Tye Phillips of Jacksonville; granddaughters: Emily Miniaci of Middleburg and Claire Crosby of Kingsley, Georgia; sister: Elaine Young of Georgia, several great grandchildren, and her fur baby Missy.  She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty years, George Godbold and her son, Ray Phillips. Funeral services will be held 1:00pm, Friday, September 16, 2022 in the chapel at Warren Funeral Services of Baldwin with Sister Sarah Team officiating. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Jacksonville.
