DORMINEY--- Funeral services for Mary "Jerry" Dorminey, (69) of Baldwin, Florida will be held at 7:00 PM Tuesday, November 13,2007 in the chapel of Prestwood Funeral Home 105 Hwy 90 west in Baldwin, Florida with her brother in law, Rev. Al Dorminey of Old Kings Road Baptist Church officiating. Graveside committal services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 13, 2007 in Guthrie Cemetery, Nashville, Georgia where she will be laid to rest by her husband, Gene and their beloved dog "Buckshot". Jerry was born August 11, 1938 in Logan County, Oklahoma, the daughter of the late, Andrew Cooksey and the former Chloe Green. She passed away peacefully Saturday, November 10, 2007, at her home in Baldwin, surrounded by family and loved ones. Survivors include her children: Phyllis (Freddie) Green, Beverly (Mike) Thomas, David (Chris) Dorminey; four granddaughters, Michelle (Brian) Wallstedt, Summer (Baye) Beauford, Amy Thomas, and Leah Pickard; four great grandchildren: Jacob, Chloe, Jesslyn, and Jackson; her sisters: Bonnie Hudson, Ruby Moad, and Edna Ozbirn, Helen Cooksey and brother-in-law Milam Headley. Mrs. Dorminey was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years Gene Dorminey. Family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 PM until the hour of service.
