Funeral services for Lonnie Edwin "Blue Boy" Hannah, Sr. (74) of Jacksonville, FL will be held 11 A.M., Friday, July 27, 2007 in the chapel of Prestwood Funeral Home with Brother Ronald Hannah and Dr. Bernie Armstrong officiating. The interment will follow in Sellers Cemetery, Jacksonville, FL. Mr. Hannah was born in Jacksonville, FL, April 12, 1933 the son of the late Samuel A. Hannah, Sr. and the former Lillian Harvey. He passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2007 in Jacksonville, FL following a lengthy illness. In addition to his wife of 52 years, Patricia Evelyn Hannah, he is survived by: Six Sons, Buddy (Ruthie), Ronnie (Angel), Jerry (Lucy), Donnie, Randy (Melissa) and John Hannah; Four Brothers, Sam (Charlene), Earl (Bonnie), Mark (Diane) and Michael (Paula); Three Sisters, Esther Ojeda, Glenda (Keith) Jowers and Rhonda (Tim) Lowe; Eleven Grandchildren and Four Great Grandchildren. Serving as Pallbearers: Allen Hannah, Jonathan Hannah, Frank McClain, Johnny Nolan, Ira Smith, Donnie Barnhill and Honorary: John Lomax. The family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M., Thursday, July 26, 2007 at the funeral home.
