Linda Ruege Ferrell

Mrs. Linda R. Ferrell, age 69 of Jacksonville, passed away Saturday, August 6, 2022. Linda was a lifelong resident of Jacksonville and a graduate of Nathan B. Forrest High School. She was the owner of Granny's A-Go-Go Jams, Jellies, and Pickles. She loved cooking and gardening and will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by her daughters: Allison Ferrell of New Jersey, Deanna Carter Carnes, and Wendy Ferrell both of Jacksonville; grandchildren: Al Milevoi III, Ashlee Milevoi, Michael Carter Jr., Courtney Carter, Joseph Carnes, William Carter, and Dean Ferrell; sisters: Connie Ruege and Dianne Brantly; brother: John Ruege Jr.; and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents: John and Doris Ruege Sr., husband: Dean Ferrell, and daughter: Lindsey Ferrell. A Celebration of Life will be held 12:00pm, Saturday, August 27,2022 at Hardage-Giddens/Riverside location at 7242 Normandy Blvd. In lieu of flowers, the family requests you enjoy a meal, in Ms. Linda's memory, at one of her favorite local restaurants: Treemendous BBQ on Herlong Road or Bassil's on Argyle Forest Blvd. Warren Funeral Services of Baldwin is honored to serve the Ferrell Family.
