Lee Cole

Funeral services for Lee Franklin "Frank" Cole (90) of Jacksonville, Florida will be held 11 a.m., Friday, December 7, 2012 at Riverside Memorial Park with Rev. Robert Fore officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, December 6, 2012 in the chapel of the funeral home. Mr. Cole was born June 9, 1922 in Kathleen, Georgia, son of the late John Benjamin Cole, Sr. and the former Nina Jane Woodward. He passed away on December 3, 2012 in Jacksonville, Florida. Mr. Cole served during W.W. II in the U.S. Navy. He worked for Southern Rail Road, City of Jacksonville Rail Road and 20 years at National Merchandising/ Pic N Save. He was a loyal member of West Park Baptist Church for more than 50 years. He is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Pickett Cole and daughter, Judy Cole Thompson. He is survived by: daughters, Patricia Cole Goddard and Vickie Cole Woods (John); grandsons, Jeff Thompson (Whitney), Michael Thompson (Jen), Adam Woods, Cole Woods and Patrick Goddard; 4 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Frances Rogero "other" children Pam, Jan and Richard. The family would like to say a loving thank you to Peggy, Waylen, Tara and Tiffany for all the care they gave our Daddy.
