- Funeral services for Lawrence "Larry" Wroten (76) of Clay Hill, Florida will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, July 19, 2013 at Long Branch Baptist Church, 5500 Long Branch Cemetery Road with Rev. William McLeod and Rev. Harry Conway officiating. The interment will immediately follow in Long Branch Cemetery. Larry was born on November 18, 1936 in St. Augustine, Florida, son of the late Thomas Wroten and the former Mamie Stevens. He passed away on July 15, 2013 following a lengthy illness. Larry was the owner of Edgewood TV Sales and Service. He was a member of Long Branch Baptist Church for 38 years where he served as a Sunday School Teacher. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Berlin Crisis. In addition to his wife of 57 years, Patricia "Pat" Wroten, survivors include son, Jared Taylor Wroten (Lorraine); granddaughter, Taylor Ann Wroten; brother, Leonard Jerome Wroten, numerous nephews, nieces, extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Eugene Wroten.
