SANTIAGO- Funeral services for Lauro Santiago (82) of Jacksonville, Florida will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 3, 2016 in the chapel of Prestwood Funeral Home with JR McGuire officiating. Interment will immediately follow in Riverside Memorial Park. Our beloved father, grandfather and friend was born on March 2, 1934 in Lares, Puerto Rico, son of the late Rafael Santiago and the former Maria Gonzalez. He passed away on October 30, 2016 following an extended illness. He is survived by sons, Rocky (Deb) Santiago and Ron (Amber) Santiago; daughter, Betty (Neco) Santiago; grandchildren, Maria(Michael), Angela(Joe), Jessie Marie(Clay), Jessie Lee and Angelina; great-grandchildren, Marianna, Siarrah, Mya, Josiah, Kamiya, Alijah, Micaela, Charlee and Audriana; brother, William (Myrna) Santiago; many extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 53 years, Patricia Ann Santiago and his two sons, Raymond Santiago and Nelson Santiago. Those serving as pallbearers include, Rocky Santiago, Ron Santiago, Manny Santiago, Michael Lwanga, Joe Mandara and Clay Jones.The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at the Funeral Home.
