Larry Eugene Thomas

Mr. Larry Thomas, 69, passed peacefully on December 24, 2022. He was born Feb 14, 1953, in Jacksonville to Judy and Leverett Thomas.  Larry graduated from Plantation High School and worked at Gerdau Ameristeel for 36 years as a crane operator.

He is survived by his wife Rhonda, daughter Lisa Chamberlain (Robb), son Jake Thomas (Kim), grandchildren Chase, Colby, Zane and Beau, a sister Judy Smith, and mother Judy Thomas.

Larry was a kind soul and one who was always available to lend a hand. He was a deacon at Whitehouse Baptist Church. He enjoyed time hunting, fishing, and socializing with friends. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.

A memorial service will be held at 3PM Friday, December 30, 2022, at the Whitehouse Baptist Church, 24 Celery Avenue North, Jacksonville, FL 32220.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Whitehouse Baptist Church Building Fund c/o the address listed above.
