Biography
HEALAN – Funeral Services for Larry Healan (63) of St. George, GA will be held Friday, April 25, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Prestwood Funeral Home with Pastor James Conner officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Mr. Healan was born July 16, 1944 in Jacksonville, Florida, son of Franklin (Pat) Healan and the late Alice Taylor. He passed away April 22, 2008 in Baldwin, Florida. After serving in the U.S. NAVY he went on to retire from Bell South after 40 years of service as an Electronic Technician. Mr. Healan was an avid hunter and was a member of the M&T Hunting Club in Jeffersonville, Georgia. In addition to his wife, Mary Ann, he is survived by: Two Sons, Chuck (Cheryl) Healan and Rodney Austin; Daughter, Yvette (Chuck) Hughes; Eleven Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Sister, Wanda Britt. Honorary Pallbearers include: Lyn Deloach, Don Karph, Dave Ryan, Harvey Gay and Donnie Jones. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to New Life Baptist Church, P.O. BOX 5, St. George, Georgia 31646 in his honor.
