KILGORE- Funeral services for Kevin Lamar Kilgore (50) of Baldwin, Florida will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 21, 2015 at First Baptist Church of Baldwin with pastor Jeff Nuckols officiating. The interment will immediately follow in Long Branch Cemetery, Maxville, Florida. Mr. Kilgore was born on October 11, 1964 in Jacksonville, Florida, son of the late James Richard Kilgore and the former Edna Faye Jones. He graduated from Baldwin Jr/Sr High School in 1982 and was employed by U.P.S with 31 years of loyal service. He passed away on September 16, 2015. He loved his family dearly and everyone he met was his best friend. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved all sports, but his passion was running with his hunting dogs and being with all of his buddies. He is survived by: mother, Edna Faye Kilgore; two sons, J.R. (Taylor) Kilgore and Marcus Kilgore; brother, Jerry Kilgore; numerous family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy "J.R." Kilgore and brother, Richard Kilgore. Those serving as pallbearers include: John Waters, Ron Spence, Seth Samples, Richard Parker, Tommy Grimes, Rick Capan and Shaun Copher. The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, September 20, 2015 in the chapel of Prestwood Funeral Home.
