Kenneth Rountree

Folta Kenneth Rountree, 68, of Callahan, Florida passed away October 30, 2017 at his residence. He was born February 1, 1949 in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Fulta Rountree and Alice Wynn Rountree. He worked as a service technician for 36 years with Sears. Mr. Rountree was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church and will be remembered for his unwavering love for his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, his loving family, along with many friends. He truly never met a stranger. His memory will live on forever in the hearts of many who were fortunate to be in his presence. In addition to his loving and faithful wife of 49 years, Brenda Rountree, survivors include: mother, Alice Roundtree; son, Joey (Kathy) Rountree; daughter, Melissa (Michael) Downs and Ashlei (Paul) Schwendinger; sister, Cathy (Anthony) Stevenson; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild; numerous extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his sister, Jan Stevenson. Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m.  on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at Lighthouse Baptist Church, 9777 Ford Rd, Bryceville, Florida 32009. The family will be receiving friends from 6-7 p.m. at the Church.  In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to Lighthouse Baptist Church.
