Funeral services for Kathleen Frances Motes (94) of Bryceville, Florida will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, August 21, 2010 at the First Baptist Church of Bryceville with Pastor Richard Fish and Pastor Terry Yerby officiating. The interment will immediately follow in Motes Cemetery, Bryceville, Florida. Mrs. Motes was born on November 18, 1915 in Bryceville, Florida, daughter of the late Arthur Walton Hunt and the former Annie Jane Davis. She passed away peacefully on Monday, August 16, 2010 in Bryceville, Florida. She is survived by: three daughters, Mary (Walter) Martin, Anne Motes Williams and Denise (Charlie) Kirkland; son, Larry (Dawn) Motes, Sr.; two sisters, Margie Hingson and Lillie Mae Ayers; twelve grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren and numerous great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles B. Motes and son, Dorsey Motes. Those serving as pallbearers include: Larry Motes Jr., Scott Motes, Michael Arnold, Christopher Arnold, Sampson Hickox and Jeremy Whittemore. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Friday, August 20, 2010. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Northeast Community Hospice of Jacksonville.
