Funeral Services for Karen Marie Melton White (47) of Charlotte, North Carolina will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 1, 2008 in the chapel of Prestwood Funeral Home with Rev. James Branch and Rev. Bob Anderson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Interment will follow in Macedonia Cemetery, MacClenny, Florida. Mrs. White was born September 24, 1961 in Jacksonville, Florida, daughter of Neil Melton and the former Vera Smith. She passed away November 23, 2008 in Charlotte, North Carolina following a brief illness. In addition to her husband, Lane A. White and Parents, survivors include: Two Sons, Jeremy and Brandon (Dawna); Brother, David Neil Melton; Sister, Kathy Monroe; Two Nephews, Oylan Monroe and David Melton, Jr.; Two Nieces, Jaclyn Monroe and Megan Wolfe; Numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and her beloved Aunt Dorie. Those serving as Pallbearers include: Jack Monroe, Dylan Monroe, David Melton, Jr., Randy McKendree, Scott Massey and Harry Massey.
