Rev. Johnnie Sweat

Funeral services for Rev. Johnnie Jackson Sweat (87) of Baldwin, Florida will be held 11 am, Saturday, December 27, 2014 at the Baldwin Church of God with Rev. Johnnie Anderson officiating. The interment will immediately follow in Manntown Cemetery. Mr. Sweat was born on November 27, 1927 in Macclenny, Florida, son of the late Hance Sweat and the former Nettie Hodges. He passed away on December 22, 2104 following a lengthy illness. He was born and raised in Baker County, Florida. In addition to his wife of 65years, Rev. Aleene Sweat, he is survived by: son, Rev. Ronald (Samantha) Sweat, Sr.; five grandchildren, Ron (Rachel) Sweat Jr., Jonathan Sweat, Ryan (Aara) Sweat, Daniel Sweat and Evan Wilson; seven great grandchildren, April, Chloe, Emily, Michael, Serenity, Bentley and Cutler; four sisters, Toria (E.D.) Higginbotham, Bernice Raulerson, Sally Colley and Shirley Rhoden; numerous extended family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm, on Friday at the church
