Funeral services for Jesse "Bud" Wright (81) of Bryceville, Florida will be held 11 a.m., Monday, October 24, 2011 in the chapel of Prestwood Funeral Home with Pastor Bert Hutson and Pastor Bronson Clemons officiating. The interment will immediately follow in Brandy Branch Cemetery, Bryceville, Florida. Bud was born on August 22, 1930 in Coffee County, Georgia, son of the late Roy Wright and the former Lillie McDonald. He passed away on October 21, 2011 at his home in Bryceville, Florida following a brief illness. In addition to his wife of 62 years, Christine Nettles Wright, survivors include: two sons, Larry (Margie) Wright and Donnie (Janet) Wright; three daughters, Glenda (Dusty) Touchton, Dona Gail (Barry) Stewart and Lora (Steve) Paris; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by ten siblings and granddaughter Amanda Wright. Pallbearers include: Bobby Granville, David Wright, Matt Wright, Kevin Crews, Kyle Cannon, Joey Livingston and Matt Andrews. Honorary Pallbearers include: Verlon Nettles, Coy Silcox, Leonard Raulerson and Clifton Gamble. His memberships include: Woodmen of the World and Whitehouse Baptist Church. The family would like to extend their gratitude to Heartland Hospice Care and staff for their compassion and care. The family will receive friends from 3-5 p.m. on Sunday, October 23, 2011 at the funeral home.
