James Hand

Biography

James Henry Hand (78) of Callahan, Florida passed away on December 20, 2011 at Baptist Medical Center Nassau. He was born in Coffee, GA, November 19, 1933. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eli and Alma Hand, and a brother Eli Hand, Jr. In addition to his wife, Linda Hand, survivors include: three sons, James, Stephen and Chris (Carrie) Hand; stepson, Robert Jason (Pam) Gambrell; brother, Carlton Hand; sister, Mary Smith; two special nieces, Sue (Carl) Berlin and Karen (Buddy) Chipwood; ten grandchildren; numerous extended family and friends. To all the kids, he was lovingly known as "Papa." At his request, there was no viewing or service. He is at home with his Savior and will be forever loved and missed by all.
