Funeral services for James Odis "Buddy" Clemons, Sr. (70) of Bryceville, Florida will be held on Friday November 6, 2009 at 10:30 am at Brandy Branch Bapt. Church (1906 Brandy Branch Church Place) with Bro. Rusty Bryan officiating. Interment will be held at Jacksonville National Cemetery immediately following the service. Mr. Clemons was born in Duval County, FL on November 12, 1938, son of the late Tassie Grace Stevens and Otis Clemons. He passed away on November 4, 2009 in Jacksonville, FL. Survivors include: wife Linda Durden Clemons of Bryceville, FL; two sons Jeffery (Rachel) Scott Clemons of California, MD and James Odis Clemons, Jr. of Bryceville, FL; daughter Rebecca (Larry) Clemons Marchant of Jacksonville, FL; two sisters Shirley Lee of Hampton, FL and Norma Howard of Middleburg, FL and seven grandchildren. Family will receive friends in the chapel of the funeral home on Thursday, November 5, 2009 from 6:00pm - 8:00pm.
