Funeral Services for Irma Lee Padgett Knight (75) of the Baldwin Florida area will be held 11:00 AM, Friday March 28, 2008 in the chapel of Prestwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Donnie Williams, Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church officiating. Mrs. Knight was born July 31, 1932 in Clay Hill, Florida; she was the daughter of the late William Padgett and Zettie Manning-Padgett and went home to be with the Lord March 25, 2008. She was a devoted wife of 46 years to the late James Edwin Knight, and a loving mother. She leaves behind her children, Oscar Knight, Ann (Larry) Dugger, Patricia Chandler and Yvonne (Keith) Padgett; fifteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son William Knight. Family will receive friends Thursday, March 27, 2008 at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers will be Darrell Blackburn Adam Boyd, Christopher Boyd, David Crawford, Randy Padgett, Robert Passmore and Jon Vines. Honorary Pallbearers will be Sheriff Rick Beseler, of the Clay County Sheriff's Office, Sheriff Joey Dobson of the Baker County Sheriff's Office, Sheriff Bob Milner of the Bradford County Sheriff's Office, Sheriff John Rutherford of the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, Sheriff Tommy Seagraves of the Nassau County Sheriff's Office, Judge Lance Day, Judge Gary Flower, Judge David Gooding, Chief of Detectives Rick Graham of the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, Chief Randy White Deputy Director Assistant Fire Chief of the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue, Ken Jefferson Public Information Officer with the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, Ted Hires founder of the Justice Coalition and her brother-in-law Owen Knight.
